Casemiro scored a brace as Man Utd cruised past their ten-man opponents.

Manchester United defeated Reading 3-1 in their FA Cup clash on Saturday. A fantastic second-half display was enough to ensure United’s progress to the next round.

Casemiro steals the show!

Man Utd were quick in establishing their dominance early on. The Red Devils got more comfortable around their opponents’ box as the first half went on.

However, Erik ten Hag’s men lacked enough composure to convert their chances. Only one of Man Utd’s 15 registered shots was on target before the break.

But things started to change as soon as the second half started. Only nine minutes after half-time, Casemiro put the Red Devils ahead by converting a superb through ball from Antony.

The Red Devils increased the pressure on Reading’s backline to double their lead and managed to do so only four minutes later. Casemiro completed his incredible performance with a sublime shot from long-range.

Things got more complicated for Reading when Andy Caroll received his second yellow card in the 65th minute. Only a minute later, United finished off the job by making it 3-0 through Fred.

Reading pulled one back as they went all in with their attacks in the final 20 minutes. But their efforts were nothing near enough to stop United from going into the next round.
