Man United returned to winning ways with an easy victory at Old Trafford.

Manchester United defeated Sheriff Tiraspol 3-0 in their Europa League match on Thursday. Ronaldo marked his return to United’s squad with a goal as the Red Devils celebrated another European win.

A lineup spot for CR7!

Erik ten Hag started Ronaldo against Sheriff, ending a long saga that saw the Dutchman even ban CR7 from attending his side’s training sessions last week.

Man Utd quickly took control of the game but had to wait until the 44th minute for their opening goal.

Following a host of missed chances, Diogo Dalot put the Red Devils ahead by converting a Christian Eriksen assist from close range.

Similar to the first half, Sheriff wasn’t able to create a single chance against the hosts while United continued their dominance.

A brilliant header from Marcus Rashford then doubled Man Utd’s lead five minutes past the hour-mark.

The Red Devils continued their attacks on Sheriff’s backline from both flanks, showing great enthusiasm to extend their lead.

It was then Ronaldo’s turn to score for the Red Devils, making it 3-0 in the 81st minute. The Portuguese superstar saw the Sheriff goalkeeper save his initial header but smashed the rebound into the back of the net.

United will return to the Premier League to face West Ham before meeting Real Sociedad in their last group-stage game next week.
