The Red Devils have steadied their ship after a rocky start to the campaign and are expected to keep alive their unbeaten streak.

Manchester United play host to Wolverhampton Wanderers in their upcoming Premier League outing on Wednesday.

A victory will move the home team to second place in the standings whereas the same could pull the away side, depending on the result of Southampton vs West Ham United, up in the top half of the table.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side could only walk away with a point from their previous fixture and so did Nuno Espirito Santo’s side, and both teams will be determined to grab all three on Wednesday.

Man United vs Wolves Form:

An impressive turnaround in form has helped the Red Devils close the gap from Liverpool and emerge as strong contenders in the title race.

Their last league defeat came against Arsenal at the start of November and they have recorded six wins and two draws in the subsequent eight matches.

Solskjaer’s side have picked up seven points from a possible nine in their last three league games at Old Trafford and will be hoping to make it four, although they are in for a tough test.

Wolves managed to snatch a crucial point from the match against Tottenham on Sunday.

Injury woes have left the West Midlands outfit struggling for form as they have been able to win just two of their last eight Premier League games.

Santo’s side are five points adrift of the European places, sitting in 11th place after 15 matches with 21 points.

Man United vs Wolves Head-to-head:

16 times in total have the two sides met previously and United have emerged victorious in nine of those and four have ended in a stalemate.

However, ever since returning to the English top-flight, Wolves are yet to be beaten by their upcoming opponents.

Man United vs Wolves Team News:

Victor Lindelof and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are major doubts for the upcoming game. Marcos Rojo and Phil Jones are out with injuries.

Raul Jimenez is still recovering from a skull fracture and remains sidelined. Jonny Otto is another long-term absentee while Leander Dendoncker, Marcal, and Willy Boly are also doubtful.
