Amad Diallo made a great start to his loan spell at the Scottish side.

Rangers drew 3-3 in a Scottish Premiership thriller against Ross County on Saturday. Manchester United starlet Amad Diallo, who joined the club two days ago, scored the opener for the Gers in the fifth minute.

Diallo scored his first shot as a Rangers player following a fine assist from Joe Aribo. It was similar to his Manchester United debut, where he also converted his first shot against AC Milan.

Having established himself as one of Serie A’s finest talents, Diallo joined United from Atalanta last January. In his nine senior appearances for the Red Devils, the 19-year-old has scored once and provided an assist.

Speaking after his unveiling at Rangers, Diallo expressed his happiness about his loan move.

“I am delighted to join Rangers until the end of the season,” the Ivorian starlet told the club’s official website.

“It is fantastic for me at this stage of my career to have the opportunity to come to such a big club that is challenging on a number of fronts and will give me some excellent opportunities to test myself in many environments.

“I look forward to training with my teammates for the first time tomorrow and to meeting the fans for the first time at Ross County on Saturday.”

Diallo limped off the pitch in the 66th minute of his debut. It remains to be seen whether he can play for the Gers in their upcoming battle against clash against Celtic.
