The Red Devils will be able to use Edinson Cavani and Jesse Lingard in their squad for the upcoming game.

Manchester United will face Burnley in a Premier League game on Tuesday. The Red Devils are looking to bounce back from their shock elimination in the FA Cup, where they played without the services of Edinson Cavani and Jesse Lingard.

Cavani played two games for Uruguay in their World Cup qualifying games last week. The player received extra time off by the club to recover for United’s next league match.

Before the FA Cup match against Middlesbrough, United manager Ralf Rangnick said Lingard had requested to take some time to ‘clear his head’ after a failed January transfer. However, the England international dismissed the suggestion that he asked the club for a break.

In a pre-match interview ahead of his side’s upcoming game against Burnley, the German boss insisted there are no problems between him and Lingard.

He said (via Sky Sports): “With regards to Jesse, I have a very good relationship with him.

“He knows I would have been willing to let him go at least until the issue with Mason came up. He mentioned some personal issues.

“We have to look forward now, there are no problems whatsoever between myself and Jesse and vice versa. I’m very happy to have him in the squad and he’ll be in the squad for tomorrow night’s game.

“They’re both available and will both be part of the squad for tomorrow’s game at Burnley. Both are top professionals, both have been training well.”

Following their match against Burnley, United will face Southampton in their next league match on Saturday.
