The Red Devils will have to face Tottenham without two of their regular starters.

Manchester United will play against Tottenham in their Premier League game on Saturday. The Red Devils hope to reclaim their top-four spot against the Spurs. However, they will not have their entire squad when entering the crunch battle.

According to the Athletic, Bruno Fernandes and Scott McTominay have not travelled with the rest of United’s squad for the game.

On Saturday, reports emerged of several United players testing positive for COVID-19. As of now, the club have not confirmed the cases, but McTominay and Fernandes will most likely miss the match through positive tests.

This will be a huge blow for the Red Devils, considering their recent struggles on different areas of the pitch. Without Fernandes, Rangnick will most likely rely on Sancho to provide goalscoring chances for Cristiano Ronaldo and Marcus Rashford up front.

Rangnick’s side will face a Tottenham side, who have shown great signs of improvement in recent weeks. The Spurs have won three of their last four league games, scoring 12 goals.

It is unclear whether United will have Fernandes and McTominay available for their next game. The Red Devils must face Atletico Madrid in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie on Tuesday.
