Man United ask Paul Pogba to delay future decision until permanent manager is appointed

United want Pogba and other wantaway players to delay a decision on their future until the club appoints a permanent manager.

Manchester United have reportedly asked Paul Pogba to hold off on making a decision over his future until they appoint a permanent manager.

Pogba has been linked with an exit from Old Trafford for a while, with Real Madrid, Juventus, and Paris Saint-Germain all linked with signing the Frenchman.

He has, so far, refused to put pen to paper on a new deal and looks set to leave the club in the summer.

However, according to ESPN, Pogba along with Anthony Martial and Donny van de Beek have been asked by United’s football director, John Murtough, to wait until the summer before deciding where they want to play next season.

Ralf Rangnick was appointed by United following Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s dismissal but the Italian has been brought in on an interim basis.

Mauricio Pochettino and Erik ten Hag are on the shortlist to take over at the end of the season, while Rangnick isn’t ruling out the possibility of staying on for another year.

Pogba has refused to make a decision over his future until the current campaign ends, but looks set to leave the club, despite the Red Devils hoping he signs a new deal.
