The Citizens hope to win their seventh FA Cup by beating Manchester United this weekend.

Erling Haaland is excited to play for Manchester City in their upcoming FA Cup final against Manchester United.

The Citizens have a chance to win a historic treble this season. Having already won the Premier League, Haaland and co must face United and Inter in their remaining two finals.

Speaking ahead of the FA Cup final at Wembley, Haaland insisted his side are eager to celebrate their next trophy of the season.

“When you play for a club like Man City you have to fight for every single trophy. The FA Cup is a trophy the club hasn’t won for four years. We want to change that,” he told the FA’s official website.

“Everyone is really excited to get to Wembley to play this final.”

Man City last won the FA Cup in 2019, beating Watford 6-0 in the final. Haaland, however, highlighted Yaya Toure’s match-winning goal in the 2011 final against Stoke City.

He added: “Everyone who follows football knows how historic and special the FA Cup is.

Yaya Toure’s goal against Stoke City to win Man Citythe FA Cup in 2011 is a moment I remember and one that was so special for our fans.”

After the FA Cup final, Man City will prepare to take on Inter in the Champions League final on June 10.
