The Citizens are reluctant to sell more players ahead of the next season.
Manchester City will “do everything” to keep Kyle Walker and Bernardo Silva this summer, according to Pep Guardiola.
City have already sold Riyad Mahrez and Ilkay Gundogan ahead of the next campaign. But Guardiola seems eager to avoid more departures this summer.
“They are such important players for us, we are going to do everything,” Guardiola told a news conference on Friday.
“It’s not like Gundogan where he finished a contract. We will do everything because replacing these two players is so difficult.”
Kyle Walker is heavily linked with a move to Bayern Munich, while Bernardo Silva has emerged on Barcelona’s radar. But the Citizens are yet to receive formal offers for the two veteran stars.
“We lost two incredible players for us in Ilkay and Riyad, who were massively important for us in big important games with goals and assists.
“To lose Kyle and Bernardo would be so difficult, that is why we are going to do everything to keep them.”
He added: “If people want our really really important players, first they have to make an offer and that hasn’t happened.”
Man City are preparing to defend their historic treble in the upcoming season. The Citizens will take on Arsenal in the Community Shield match on Sunday before playing against Burnley in the Premier League on August 11.
