Memphis Depay has been linked with a move to Barcelona as Ronald Koeman restructures the dressing room according to his wishes.

Luis Suarez is on his way out. So is Arturo Vidal. The South American duo are not seen as a worthy part of the roster by the new manager, Ronald Koeman.

Koeman wants to shape Barcelona in his own image and wants compatriot Memphis Depay at the Camp Nou. Depay is tied to Olympique Lyon but would be allowed to leave.

Rudi Garcia shared earlier that he will himself drive the prolific forward to Catalonia. Now, Juninho has come out and shared similar sentiments.

“When a 26-year-old who only has one year left on his contract is being followed by Barcelona, he is in a strong position,” Marca quoted Juninho.

“We’ve not received any official proposal from Barcelona, but we’d have to consider it if one arrives.”

Depay has started the 2020/21 Ligue 1 season brightly. The Dutch attacker scored a well-timed hattrick on opening day in a 4–1 win against Dijon.
