The newly promoted side will have Ross Barkley in their squad for the next season.
Luton Town have completed a transfer for Ross Barkley, returning the former Chelsea star to the Premier League.
Barkley joined League 1 side Nice last September but left the club at the end of the season. Luton Town have now signed the 29-year-old on a free transfer.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Barkley said: “Why Luton? Going from the Conference to the Premier League is a great story and for me personally to be back in the Premier League, it’s great motivation.
“I’m still relatively young and over the last couple of years I’ve not played as much as I’d have liked.
“But I’ve reserved a lot of energy and looked after myself, so it’s great to be here now as I’ve got a lot to show but I’m ready and feeling motivated.”
Barkley made 27 Ligue 1 appearances for Nice last season, scoring four goals and providing two assists. The former England international hopes to rekindle his spark back in the Premier League this season.
Luton Town manager Rob Edwards said: “Ross brings loads of experience at the top level, has international experience and brings an x-factor.”
Ross will be available to play for Luton in their opening Premier League game of the season against Brighton on Saturday.
