The Red Devils extended their Premier League winning streak to four games with a narrow victory at Kenilworth Road.

Manchester United defeated Luton Town 2-1 in their Premier League game on Sunday. Rasmus Hojlund’s early brace was enough to ensure United’s victory.

What happened?

United started the game with a first-minute goal as Hojlund became the youngest-ever player to score in six consecutive Premier League matches.

The Danish star latched onto a poor backpass from Amari’i Bell before bursting past the keeper and making it 1-0 with a precise low shot.

Only six minutes later, the Red Devils doubled their lead when Hojlund completed his brace. This time, a volley from Alejandro Garnacho deflected off the striker and found the corner of the net.

Luton made a quick response when Carlton Morris headed the ball past Andre Onana from close range in the 14th minute. However, the hosts failed to use their momentum to score an equalizer before the break.

United re-established their dominance over the game in the second period, creating several chances to increase their lead. However, poor finishing and a few fantastic saves from Thomas Kaminski kept Luton Town in the game until the final whistle.

Hojlund made another excellent display for the Red Devils as they defeated Luton Town in an away game. In addition to scoring his side’s two early goals, the Danish star remained a constant threat to Luton’s backline with his effective attacking runs.
