Ahead of Belgium’s Euro 2020 showdown with Portugal, Romelu Lukaku revealed two aspects of Cristiano Ronaldo’s game that he envies.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s dribbling skills and shooting ability are aspects that Romelu Lukaku would love to add to his own game.
The 28-year-old also believes Ronaldo wouldn’t mind having his power and ability to play with his back behind the goal either ahead of Sunday’s Euro 2020 showdown between Belgium and Portugal.
“I’d like to have Ronaldo’s dribbling skills and his shot,” said Lukaku in a press conference ahead of the last-16 clash in Seville.
“I think he’d like my power and the way I play with my back to the goal.”
The gloves are off again between the duo in the Euro 2020 Golden Boot race. Ronaldo currently tops the scoring charts on five goals, while Lukaku is the joint-second highest scorer on three goals.
The Juventus star also won the Golden Boot battle in Serie A last season with a five-goal advantage over Lukaku.
“He won the Capocannoniere, but we won the Scudetto,” the Inter Milan striker said. “It was a very important objective for us and my primary goal.
Belgium and Portugal meet on Sunday night at the Estadio de La Cartuja in Seville, Spain.
