The Brazil international ended his seven-year spell at Santiago Bernabeu to join Man Utd earlier this summer.
Real Madrid can cover for Casemiro’s departure with their current options in midfield, according to Luka Modric.
Modric formed Real Madrid’s devastating midfield trio alongside Casemiro and Toni Kroos. However, the Croatian star believes the La Liga champions will soon find their new midfield setup without Casemiro.
Speaking to Real Madrid’s official website, Modric said: “We’ve started really well this year and we have a strong team.
“In midfield, we lost an important player in Casemiro, but we’ve got a lot of other good players to replace him and do a good job. [Aurelien] Tchouameni has adapted really well.
“This is [Eduardo] Camavinga’s second year and he had a great first year. [Toni] Kroos has been here for a long time. [Federico] Valverde is also doing really well in any position.
“[Dani] Ceballos is helping the team a lot. We’re well equipped in this position.”
Real Madrid signed Aurelien Tchouameni during their relatively quiet transfer window this summer. The French midfielder has started all four of Blancos’ La Liga games as they maintain a perfect start to the new campaign.
Real Madrid will host Mallorca this weekend before travelling to Germany to face RB Leipzig on Wednesday.
