We still have no idea how that will look like, but Luis Suarez might try to convince his friend to play for Atletico Madrid.

He is proving he wasn’t finished as Barcelona’s previous board of directors believed. After silencing all his critics, Luis Suarez has a plan to lure Messi back to his side. Although Atletico Madrid won’t be able to pay Messi what he requests as a salary, they can still rely on Suarez to convince him. Their friendship is unbreakable and anything is possible between these two.

Even though he confessed that luring Messi to Atletico Madrid is not truly possible, he did play with the idea.
During an interview with Diario AS, Suarez said this about Messi: “Leo is mature enough to make his own decisions. I will always fight for him to be happy where he is. If at a certain moment there’s a chance, I will ask him to let me know. It’s obvious I will speak wonders about Atletico Madrid. But after that, he is the one who has to make the choice when he is analyzing his options.
“All the people who shared time with Leo can speak wonders about him. About the type of player he is and what a fantastic human being he is off the pitch. He always helps the younger guys, he gives them advice. All players who were with him know who he is.”
