The Parisians hope to complete their extensive clearout plans before the transfer window deadline.

Luis Enrique is set to initiate a major clearout at Paris Saint-Germain this summer as he plans to offload eight players from the squad.

With the aim of reshaping a bloated team, PSG is ready to part ways with those players who spent last season out on loan.

According to Le Parisien, the French champions have deemed these loanees surplus to requirements and are eager to sell them.

The list of players on the sale list includes Leandro Paredes, Keylor Navas, Julian Draxler, Colin Dagba, Georginio Wijnaldum, Layvin Kurzawa, Abdou Diallo, and Mauro Icardi.

This summer has already witnessed significant changes at PSG, with the arrivals of new signings such as Marco Asensio, Milan Skriniar, Manuel Ugarte, Lucas Hernandez, and Lee Kang-In.

The club has been proactive in bolstering their squad with these acquisitions. But they are yet to solve their dilemma with Kylian Mbappe.

Earlier this summer, a report from L’Equipe claimed Mbappe had decided against triggering the option to extend his PSG contract until 2025.

New manager Luis Enrique and Al-Khelaifi have made their stance clear: Mbappe will not be permitted to leave the club on a free transfer next summer.

The 24-year-old has been given until July 31 to either commit to a new deal or leave for a new club. Real Madrid have reemerged as the front-runners to sign Mbappe ahead of the new season, but they are yet to make a formal offer to PSG.
