The Liverpool boss has revealed the final assessment of Thiago’s injury ahead of the Champions League battle.

Jurgen Klopp has confirmed Thiago Alcantara will be available to play for Liverpool in their upcoming clash against Real Madrid.

The two European giants lock horns in the Champions League final on Saturday.

Thiago gave the Reds a massive injury scare when he limped off their victory over Wolves on Sunday. However, he has managed to recover in time for his side’s upcoming clash against Real Madrid in the UCL final.

Speaking in a pre-match press conference, Klopp confirmed the Spaniard has participated in full training on Thursday.

“Thiago trained yesterday. He is 100 per cent available for the final,” the German boss said (via beIN Sports)

Asked about Fabinho, Klopp responded: “Fabinho trained as normal and we go from there.”

Having won the FA Cup and Carabao Cup trophies, the Liverpool boss is motivated to add another title to his achievements this season.

“It would mean a lot but that’s sport.” Klopp said when asked how another trophy would affect the Reds’ season.

“We get judged by the final result. If you are a football person, you know what my boys did is exceptional. But it’s all based on the colour of a medal.”

He added: “We want to give them a real fight. Some of them can win it fifth time, the manager can win it fourth time. We can’t buy that experience overnight.”
