The Reds have released images of their first strip for the upcoming 2023/24 campaign.

Liverpool have unveiled their home kit for the 2023/24 season.

The launch was marked with a series of images that transport viewers back to the 70s with a soulful feel. The images feature some of the key players from the men’s and women’s teams, including Jordan Henderson, Mohamed Salah, and Missy Bo Kearns.

The men’s team will wear it for the first time on May 20 in Liverpool’s final home league game of the season against Aston Villa.

“The new home shirt is a classic,” Liverpool captain Henderson said.

“Given the inspiration behind the design, it feels iconic and a nod to the history of this great club. We’re looking forward to wearing it at Anfield for the Aston Villa game.”

The new home gear pays homage to the club’s historic 1973/74 team. This legendary squad, managed by Bill Shankly, lifted the FA Cup after defeating Newcastle in the final.

In addition to this nod to Liverpool’s past, the kit features a powerful tribute to the victims of the 1989 Hillsborough disaster. The back of the collar bears a striking image: a 97 set between two eternal flames. This design honors the fans who lost their lives in the tragedy.

Liverpool supporters can pre-order this jersey from the club’s online store, retail app, and official club shops in the UK and overseas.
