The Reds are closing in on their third summer signing after sealing deals for Fabio Carvalho and Darwin Nunez.
Scottish Premiership side Aberdeen have accepted a £4.5 million (€5.2m) offer from Liverpool for 18-year-old full-back Calvin Ramsay.
That’s according to the BBC. The report adds that the deal for the Scotland Under-21 international includes potential add-ons worth £3 million (€3.5m) and a 20% sell-on clause.
Ramsay, meanwhile, has agreed to a five-year contract to join Jurgen Klopp’s side and could complete the move to Anfield in the next few days after a medical.
Should the deal go over the line, Ramsay will surpass Scott McKenna – who joined Nottingham Forest in 2020 for £3 million – as Aberdeen’s record sale.

What has Ramsey done so far in his career?
The 18-year-old enjoyed a breakthrough campaign in the Aberdeen first-team last season and made 33 appearances across all competitions. He won the Scottish Football Writers’ Young Player of the Year award in April.
As a result of his performances, a host of European clubs were reportedly linked with him this summer.
But Liverpool have now stolen a march in the Ramsey race as they look to strengthen their squad further following the signings of Darwin Nunez and Fabio Carvalho.
