The Egypt star lost another Champions League final against Real Madrid as Liverpool ended the season with two trophies.
Salah has admitted he would trade all of his individual awards for a chance to replay the Champions League final.
Liverpool were on a mission to win the quadruple when they missed out on the Premier League on the final matchday.
A few days later, the Reds faced Real Madrid in the UCL final but couldn’t complete their much-talked-about revenge mission.
A goal from Vinicius Junior secured Blancos’ 14th UCL title, while Salah couldn’t convert his chances against Thibaut Courtois.
The Egypt star took to Twitter to share his disappointment of the way the campaign ended for the Reds.
“Being recognised by the fans and by the sports journalists in the same season is something special that I will never forget,” Salah, who topped Premier League’s goal and assist charts, wrote.
“I would however give all those personal awards up for a chance at replaying that final, but that is not how football works.
“I cannot express in words how much we wanted to bring that trophy back to Liverpool but in the end we couldn’t, I cannot thank the fans enough for your support. It has been a very long season but a part of me wishes the next one starts again tomorrow.”
