Mohamed Salah will be able to play for Liverpool in their upcoming game against the Gunners.

Salah was out of Egypt’s starting XI for their World Cup qualifier against Gabon on Tuesday. However, the Liverpool star was brought in for the final thirty minutes as Egypt secured a playoff spot.

Salah replaced Mohamed Sharif in the Pharaohs squad as they defeated Gabon with a 2-1 result. This is a huge squad boost for the Reds ahead of their Premier League game against Arsenal this weekend.

Who else is injured at Anfield?

Sadio Mane suffered a rib injury while being on international duty with Senegal last week. The exact return time for Sane is unclear, but Jurgen Klopp will most likely rest him against the Gunners.

Roberto Firmino is also out with a hamstring injury, with the Brazilian continuing his recovery process at Anfield.
Arsenal have enjoyed great form in recent weeks, winning their last three league matches. Opposite to Liverpool, Mike

Arteta’s side received an injury scare today. Gabon ruled out Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for the Egypt game but provided no explanation over his absence.

What is next for Liverpool?

Klopp’s side will face Arsenal at Anfield on Saturday. The Reds hope to bounce back from their defeat against West Ham right before the international break, and they will need Salah for that.

Liverpool will then return to Champions League to face Porto, being already qualified for the knock-out stage.
