The Reds’ activity in the transfer market is already gaining momentum.

Liverpool are reportedly confident of securing a summer move for Alexis Mac Allister.

The Argentine international attracted interest from a number of Premier League sides. Since then, Mac Allister’s brilliant performances for Brighton have helped them secure a place in the next season’s Europa League.

Earlier this week, Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi admitted that Mac Allister could leave the club this summer. The 24-year-old will most likely bid farewell to Brighton fans after his side’s match against Aston Villa this weekend.

According to Football Insider, Liverpool have made a huge salary offer as they are ready to triple Mac Allister’s current wages. The Argentine star could reportedly earn around £ 150,000 a week at Anfield.

Having registered 12 goals and three assists across all competitions, Mac Allister was a key component of De Zerbi’s attacking plans at Brighton.

Rebuilding Liverpool’s midfield line seems to be Jurgen Klopp’s priority in the upcoming transfer window. The confirmed departures of Arthur Melo, Naby Keita, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain free up space for new arrivals.

In addition to Mac Allister, Mason Mount has emerged as a serious midfield option for the Reds. However, Liverpool’s pursuit of the Chelsea star won’t affect their interest in adding Mac Allister to their ranks.
