The Reds have been heavily linked with a move for the Dutch midfielder.

Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel is reportedly open to selling Ryan Gravenberch amid interest from Liverpool.

The Reds are keen to add a new midfielder to their ranks after their failed bids to sign Romeo Lavia and Moises Caicedo. With the transfer market deadline day approaching, it seems that Gravenberch has become a priority target at Anfield.

According to German outlet Bild, Tuchel is not against allowing Gravenberch’s exit. The reason behind this decision is the German manager’s hopes of signing a new holding midfielder.

As previously reported by the German media, Bayern informed Tuchel last week that they weren’t planning to sign a new midfielder this summer. However, Gravenberch’s potential sale could help the club secure another signing in the remaining days of the transfer window.

In recent days, reports have also emerged of Manchester United’s interest in signing the Dutchman. But the Reds still lead the race to sign Gravenberch.

Liverpool have added Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Wataru Endo to their squad this summer. But their key departures in midfield have convinced most observers that they need at least one more signing for the position.

After a 3-1 win against Bournemouth last weekend, Jurgen Klopp’s men will take on Newcastle this Sunday.
