Liverpool received happy news as one of their star players is back from injury ahead of vital fixtures in the upcoming weeks.

Liverpool will face Arsenal on Saturday with an opportunity to jump up in the top four of the Premier League. It is imperative for the Reds to not lose this game as they cannot afford more slip-ups. With this thought in mind, Jurgen Klopp’s side has received an important injury boost ahead of the upcoming challenges. Yes, we are discussing Roberto Firmino.

At this point, the Brazil international is under careful consideration to be selected when Liverpool meets the Gunners on the weekend. For the past three matches, Firmino has been out of the squad as he sustained a knee injury. However, according to the recent photos released by the club, Bobby has been a part of the training session.

Klopp has some work to do.

From the first glance, it looked like the Liverpool veteran is in excellent form. The Twitter post from the club’s official page captioned: “Bobby being Bobby” – Firmino with his trademark ‘no-look nutmeg’. If you followed Liverpool’s trajectory this season, you know how much they have struggled in terms of their defence.

After star man Virgil van Dijk was forced out due to his knee disaster, the Reds came crashing down like a snowball. More defenders suffered from a lesion, but Klopp’s side has still kept Champions League hope alive. It is clear that Firmino’s return will ease a huge amount of pressure from the German boss’ shoulders. After their trip to north London, Liverpool will fight against Real Madrid in their first leg of the Champions League quarter-final.
