The Italy international has been attracting interest from the Premier League following his rise to stardom in Serie A.
Federico Chiesa has refuted reports of a rift with manager Massimiliano Allegri, labeling those reports as “pointless gossip.”
Chiesa has featured in all but two of Juventus’ eight games so far this season but he has been limited to only 331 minutes of action across all competitions.
It has been suggested sourness is spreading into his relationship with Allegri, who has reportedly been dropping him to prove a point as the pair do not have a very good working relationship.
Questions, as a result, have also been asked about the player’s future at the Allianz Stadium. The 23-year-old winger, who is said to be a target for Liverpool and Chelsea, however, insists the stories are nothing but a media fabrication.
“I’ve never had a problem with the coach, this was just created by the media. I do whatever he asks, there’s no issue here,” Chiesa told Amazon Prime Italia after Juventus’ 2-1 win over Chelsea.
“I know you lot like it when Juve start the season badly, so you can start with pointless gossip, but we are all behind the coach and want to bring Juve back to the years of dominating the Scudetto race.”
