Fabio Carvalho has attracted interest from a host of top clubs by his recent performances.

Fabio Carvalho is enjoying top form at Fulham this season. The 19-year-old has scored three goals and provided one assist in his seven appearances for the Cottagers.

Carvalho was born in Portugal before moving to London as a child. The teenage midfielder has played for England’s U18 team, delivering impressive performances for Ryan Garry’s side.

According to Eurosport, three top clubs are weighing up moves for Carvalho. In addition to Real Madrid, who are considered the player’s most likely destination, Liverpool and Chelsea are also interested in the English starlet.

Carvalho will be a free agent next summer, with the suitors preparing for talks with his representatives. Fulham are reportedly keen to sell the midfielder in the January transfer window, avoiding a free departure in the summer.

Fulham boss Marco Silva spoke about the transfer rumours around Carvalho in September.

“Fabio is the same as at the beginning of the season,

“He is the same boy, a young player hungry to play and happy to work at Fulham every single day.

“All the speculation is for him, of course with my and our support, to deal with because he’s a professional player.

“If there is speculation around him, that means that he’s doing something (well) that provoked this speculation.

“I don’t know what’s happening off the training ground on a daily basis, with those advising him, but I hope everyone stays on the same page and that everyone really advises him in the right way.

“Because he’s a young player who deserves and needs it, and who we are supporting.”
