Liverpool were held to a 2-2 draw against Brighton on Saturday. The Reds started the game with an early goal from Jordan Henderson. Sadio Mane doubled Liverpool’s lead in the 24th minute.
Brighton with a comeback
The Seagulls refused to give up after being 2-0 down in the first thirty minutes. Enock Mwepu scored before half-time to keep Brighton’s hopes alive.
Graham Potter’s side continued to create chances past Liverpool’s backline in the second half. The Seagulls finally scored the equalizer through Leandro Trossard six minutes past the hour-mark.
Liverpool stay second in the Premier League with 22 points from their ten games.
The Reds will face Atletico Madrid in their next Champions League game on Wednesday.
