Jesse Lingard has been exuberant since joining West Ham, but there is no buying option in his current contract with Manchester United.

Jesse Lingard has been displaying top-notch football at West Ham after departing from Manchester United on a loan spell.

Along with his nine goals and three assists in just 12 games, the 28-year-old has been unstoppable lately. The highly underestimated star has proven everybody wrong and once again rose to life at London Stadium.

In fact, besides West Ham boss David Moyes, the fans and players alike are loving the arrival of Lingard. One special person among them is Mark Noble who has become very fond of the newcomer.

The Hammers legend is expecting Jesse to stay at the club beyond his contract termination. Moreover, Noble is of the opinion that Lingard can make a name for himself alongside the infamous club icon Paolo Di Canio.

While talking with Daily Mail of the playmaker, Noble said: “He’s been phenomenal. When you’re playing well, it’s like autopilot. When your confidence is gone, that’s a bad place to be as a footballer. But he looks so comfortable in a West Ham shirt.”

“It’s a tough one. You know what it’s like — money is important but when you’re playing well and enjoying your football, nothing else matters. We’d love to have him back. We’ve got four games to go, and we need four more big ones from him.”

The West Ham veteran further said: “I’m sad Jesse hasn’t witnessed West Ham fans. You know what it’s like when they love someone. It’s madness. They idolise him, like they’re a God.”
