Barcelona forward Robert Lewandowski has committed to staying at the LaLiga side next season, expressing confidence that the team will win “many titles” moving forward.

Since joining Barça from Bayern Munich in 2022, Lewandowski has scored 58 goals in 94 games across all competitions. His contributions were pivotal in securing Barcelona’s first league title since 2019 and the Spanish Super Cup in the 2022-23 season.

Despite a trophyless campaign this year, Lewandowski is determined to remain at Barcelona and is optimistic about the club’s prospects for the next season. In an interview with Mundo Deportivo, he addressed rumours of a potential exit from the Catalan club, stating, “Of course, for me it is super clear. I want to win many titles with Barcelona, and I am sure that next season we will be even stronger and we will also win titles.”

Lewandowski emphasized his commitment to both his personal ambitions and the team’s success, saying, “I always want the best, not just for me, but for my teammates, and I am sure that this team will win titles next season because I see what we do each day. For me, that is what matters because this is a club that I hold close to my heart, and I want to give a lot for the team and the club.”

Barcelona’s season has been overshadowed by uncertainty regarding coach Xavi Hernández’s future and the club’s financial challenges, which have led to speculation about potential player sales to alleviate their financial strain. Despite this, the 35-year-old Lewandowski, who was runner-up for the 2021 Ballon d’Or, has made it clear that he intends to stay.

Barcelona will conclude their season with a match against Sevilla on Sunday, after which club president Joan Laporta will meet with Xavi to discuss the coach’s future.
