PSG failed to collect the three points in a hard-fought match.

PSG were held to a 2-2 draw in their match against RB Leipzig on Wednesday. The French giants were close to winning the game, but a last-minute penalty ruined the night for them.

Wijnaldum bags a brace!

Playing in their home stadium, RB Leipzig started the game with confidence. Christopher Nkunku scored the opener for the Bundesliga side in the eighth minute.

Georginio Wijnaldum, who has recently struggled to get game time at PSG, scored the equalizer in less than 15 minutes. The former Liverpool star completed his brace by scoring another one five minutes before half-time.

Mauricio Pochettino made a few changes to his side to ensure their defensive flexibility. PSG managed to defend their lead for almost of all the second half. However, a last-minute penalty from Dominik Szoboszlai was enough to take two precious points away from the French team.

With eight points from two games, PSG sit second in Group A behind Manchester City. The Citizens defeated Club Brugge 4-1 in the group’s other game.
