According to a report, Leicester City are interested in a move for Chelsea star Tammy Abraham this summer.

Tammy Abraham is considering his future at Chelsea after being left out of Thomas Tuchel’s FA Cup squad to face Manchester City on Saturday.

Having sat out 12 Premier League games following Frank Lampard’s departure in January, the forward is said to be ‘angry’ about his situation at the club.

As a result, Abraham could leave Stamford Bridge for the King Power Stadium this summer as Leicester are eyeing up the 23-year-old as a replacement for Jamie Vardy.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano: “Leicester are among the clubs interested in signing Tammy Abraham.”

The England striker has scored 12 goals in 30 appearances for Chelsea so far this season, making him the club’s top goal scorer.

He holds this record despite being given limited pitch-time following the arrival of Timo Werner, Kai Havertz, and Hakim Ziyech.

Having played just 123 minutes of Premier League football under Tuchel, Abraham is eager to join a club where he will get regular first team action.

Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester side are said to one of the club’s willing to offer Abraham such an opportunity.

With 34-year-old Vardy approaching the latter stages of his career, Leicester are said to be looking for a potential replacement.

However, Leicester City will have to compete with West Ham United for Abraham’s signature this summer. The Hammers are also in the hunt for another striker as they look to bolster their ranks ahead of next season.
