The 20-year-old relocated to England only last year and is fast developing into one of the best defenders in the Premier League.

Leicester City star Wesley Fofana has revealed his dream of playing for Real Madrid while branding the La Liga giants as “the biggest club in the world.”

Fofana put pen to paper on a five-year contract at Leicester City after his transfer from Saint-Etienne in October 2020.

The Frenchman put together a string of impressive performances in his debut season at the King Power Stadium and was voted the Young Player of the Season by the Foxes’ supporters.

In his 38 appearances for Brendan Rodgers’ side so far, he has established himself as one of the most promising young players in the Premier League and highly-rated defenders in all of Europe.

The center-back, who is expected to remain on the sidelines until the next year due to a ligament injury he sustained in pre-season, is reportedly attracting interest from some of Europe’s elite clubs.

“Rumours of Real Madrid? It’s an honour, Real Madrid is the club of my dreams,” Fofana admitted in an interview on YouTube (via Marca).

“It’s the biggest club in the world and my dream is to play there.”
