The new Peacocks collection comes with a set of physical awards for the buyers.

Leeds United have announced they will launch a new NFT (non-fundable token) pack to raise funds for the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.

The limited collection will feature the ‘no war’ shirts worn by the Leeds squad before their match against Manchester City last week.

Each player has digitally signed their unique NFT shirts, which are already available to purchase at the Makersplace platform.

Leeds have also made sure the digital assets come with a few additional rewards.

The winners of the ongoing auctions will receive the following prizes:

  • Digitally signed NFT
  • 2x Hospitality tickets for Leeds v Brighton (May 15th, 2022)
  • Pitchside tour with LUFC legends
  • Attendance to one open training session (Time TBD)

According to Leeds’ official website, the club have released only one of each NFT. However, they might sell other copies of these assets in the future.

Leeds are also among the Premier League clubs who have launched their own fan token. The club’s token is priced at $1.63 at the time of writing.

In recent months, there has been criticism aimed at the English clubs for their investments in digital currencies. However, this has not stopped the clubs from launching new auctions, with more clubs showing interest in entering the new market.
