Leeds United want to reinforce their attacking ranks and are circling Valencia forward Rodrigo to strengthen their numbers upfront.

Valencia struggled in La Liga last season. Their ninth-placed finish was their worst and could not have arrived at a worse time.

Los Che are struggling with finances in the aftermath of coronavirus pandemic. The Valencian outfit have put their whole squad on sale to avoid bankruptcy and ensure their continuity.

They have already sold three first-team regulars and more are on their way out. Ferrar Torres has joined Manchester City, while Dani Parejo and Francis Coquelin are now at Villarreal.

Leeds United are looking to profit from the dire financial situation at the Mestalla. The Whites return to the Premier League after a 16-year hiatus and want to maintain they stay.

They won the Sky Bet Championship with ease but will need greater attacking firepower. They are looking to reinforce their forward line and have identified experienced targets.

According to Sport Witness, Marcelo Bielsa have given the go-ahead to bring Rodrigo to Elland Road. The Real Madrid youth academy graduate has been impressive with Valencia but struggled with form and fitness in the 2019/20 campaign.

Rodrigo could only manage 4 La Liga goals to show for from his 27 La Liga outings. He turned 29 in March and is reaching his best before date. Los Che will accept a bid for him if it meets their valuation.

Leeds United are looking to table £22.5 million for the 22 time capped Spanish international.
