In s wildly entertaining match at Elland Road, Leeds United got a well-deserved draw against Manchester City. We got player ratings.

Elland Road was the place where Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United clashed against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City in the Premier League. The Catalan manager finally got to experience another confrontation with one of his football idols. We gotta say that neither of them disappointed with a fast-paced and electrifying match.

Although the game ended with a draw, we can guarantee that nobody who watched this game was bored with what they got. The Citizens opened the scoreboard with a fantastic solo effort from Raheem Sterling as he cut to the middle from the left flank. A classic effort that we get to see a lot from the English forward and he used today against Leeds. But Bielsa knows Guardiola too well and he wanted to entertain the public.

Pep was happy with the game’s development.

From the moment both managers stepped on the pitch, you could see they were excited to begin their rivalry in English football. There is nothing but the utmost respect from both sides and they showed it this evening. Perhaps there is no better way to prove your admiration for your rival than to go all out during the game.

All Leeds United players performed at the top of their game and we got a beautiful offensive masterclass as a result. Goalkeepers from both sides had some splendid moments due to the offensive predisposition from both clubs. However, the key moment for Bielsa’s boys came 30 minutes before the final whistle.

Rodrigo Moreno scored after a corner kick he provoked. This result obviously didn’t please any side but it left everybody with a good aftertaste. We are going to have fun with these two clubs throughout the season.
