Leeds United are yet again facing injury troubles as one of their best players is out with a long-term problem.
Leeds United star midfielder Kalvin Phillips will be out of action for two months as per reports as injury problems continue for Marcelo Bielsa.
The England international picked up a hamstring injury during the Peacocks’ draw against Brentford on Sunday.
According to the Telegraph, an initial medical examination has revealed that Phillips will miss football until February next year.
After a build-up play from the Bees to score their equaliser, the Leeds midfielder was sent to the dressing room as he pulled up.
In addition to Phillips, it is also deemed that his teammate Patrick Bamford will also miss a minimum of two weeks. He injured himself while celebrating a late equaliser for Bielsa’s side.
Moreover, Liam Copper has also sustained a hamstring injury and will be unavailable for some games.
However, the absence of Kalvin Phillips will be a major concern for the Argentine boss. The 26-year-old has been a crucial part of the plans at Elland Road.
