Lazio are demanding an answer from David Siva within the next 24 hours or they will withdraw their three-year contract for the midfielder.

Lazio want full clarity from David Silva today regarding his transfer situation. The latest report surrounding his move to the Serie A side claim it is now uncertain.

It was already reported that the Spanish midfielder will join Lazio come the end of the season.

City’s loss and exit from the Champions League on Saturday meant David Silva was without a club and a free agent.

Just yesterday, Italian outlet Corriere dello sport claimed the Serie A side have been left worried by the player not responding to any of their calls made to him. Lazio were calling to confirm the deal would go ahead as planned.

And now the latest from another Italian outlet La Gazzeta dello Sport is that Lazio have given Silva until the end of the day or they will withdraw their offer.

The report adds that the 34-year-old was expected to earn around £3.6m a year with the I Biancocelesti.

As per the same source, Napoli, Juventus and Valencia have also showed interest in the ex-City star. It now appears that Silva is tempted by a big money move to Qatar.

More clarity on the midfielder’s future will surely be known within the next 24 hours.
