Let’s take a look at the Serie A Player Ratings from the showdown between Lazio and Juventus in the Italian capital.

A late stoppage-time equalizer from substitute Caicedo denied Juventus victory on Sunday afternoon away to Lazio.

The visitors got off to a perfect start and were a constant threat on the break, resulting in Cristiano Ronaldo’s first-half opener.

The Portuguese ace turned home Juan Cuadrado’s cross to fire Juventus into a 15th-minute lead. They then controlled proceedings at the Stadio Olimpico, making life extremely difficult for Lazio going forward.

But while Andrea Pirlo’s men had the measure of their foes, especially on the break, they couldn’t take advantage. In fact, Ronaldo hit the woodwork and forced a brilliant save from goalkeeper Pepe Reina.

The second half, however, was a different show altogether as Lazio emerged the stronger team. Even without their star striker Ciro Immobile, who tested positive for COVID-19, they pushed Juve hard and forced them on the defensive.

The visitors had a very uncomfortable final 20 minutes and held on until almost the very end. But Lazio, a team famed for last-gasp goals, lived up to their reputation when Correa wriggled his way through three players and fed Felipe Caicedo, who hit the ball into the far bottom corner with literally the last kick of the game.

The 1-1 draw was the first time Lazio had drawn with Juventus in six years and moved them up to ninth in the Serie A standings.

The Bianconeri, meanwhile, stay third for the time being but could soon fall down the order should Inter Milan, Atalanta, Napoli, Roma, and Hellas Verona achieve positive results later on Sunday.

Ronaldo’s injury problem

Juve’s star player limped off the pitch in the second-half, with Pirlo replacing him with Paulo Dybala in the 76th-minute.

DAZN has reported that Ronaldo told Pirlo in the dugout that he had twisted his right ankle after falling badly on it. He limped off the pitch in pain and had ice put on his injured ankle by the club’s medical staff.
