Stadio Olimpico is the place where Lazio clashed with Marseille in the Europa League group stage fixture. Here are the player ratings.

Tonight’s Europa League clash was not an easy skirmish for Lazio as they faced the French side Marseille. Even though neither team could rack up the scorecard, we witnessed an immense fight for points in this group stage.

Although it was expected that Maurizio Sarri’s side could pull a result out of this game, the visitors were not easy prey. Both sides almost equally controlled the course of 90 minutes with incredible attempts on target.

Had Lazio captured some of the big chances that they missed, the encounter could have turned their way around. However, Pau Lopez in Marseille’s goal managed to not let a single shot into the net.

Cengiz Under brought the visiting team close to scoring on several occasions but was denied by the in-form Lazio goalkeeper, Thomas Strakosha.

With a point apiece, Lazio stands second in Group E with four points followed by Marseille with three points.
