The Argentine star has signed a new five-year deal at Giuseppe Meazza.
Since joining Inter in 2018, Lautaro Martinez has established himself as a key player in the Nerazzurri’s final third.
The Argentina international, who was linked with a move away from Inter in the summer transfer window, has finally extended his stay at the Italian side.
“FC Internazionale Milano announce that they have reached an agreement for the extension of the contract of Lautaro Martinez,” the club’s statement reads.
“The striker will be at the Nerazzurri until June 30, 2026.”
Martinez has featured in nine Serie A games for Inter this season, scoring five goals and providing one assist. Since Romelu Lukaku’s departure, the 24-year-old has developed himself as a cornerstone of Inter’s lineup, pairing up with Edin Dzeko to provide Inter with several goals in the journey to defend their Serie A title.
