Showing great fighting spirit, the Gunners snatched a point in Sunday’s London derby after dramatically overturning a three-goal deficit.

Arsenal and West Ham United played out a stunning six-goal thriller in their latest Premier League meeting at London Stadium.

Jesse Lingard opened the scoring before Jarrod Bowen and Tomas Soucek increased West Ham’s advantage, and Arsenal found themselves in a very disadvantageous position at end of the first half. The second half, however, belonged to the visitors as they netted twice, having pulled one back in the 38th minute, to ensure a share of the spoils.

Alexandre Lacazette was key to his side’s thrilling comeback as he forced an own goal from Soucek and netted the crucial final goal in the final ten minutes.

The 3-3 draw helped the Gunners extend their unbeaten run to four games in the Premier League as well as keep the hopes of a top-four finish alive.

“We had the pressure, we knew it was a big game,” Lacazette told Sky Sports after the full-time whistle.

“We have to work a lot to be ready for the end of the season. It is really complicated, this kind of game, we need to work a lot.

“We knew even after the bad first half we could come back and score more.”
