Ahead of the new season, La Liga have released the full fixture list for all 38 game weeks spanning September 12 through 30th of May 2021.
A new season is upon us and virtually all domestic European Leagues will resume in September. La Liga are the latest to reveal their fixture list.
The new Ligue 1 season is already underway and other leagues are set to join them soon enough.
The Premier League are gearing up for a return to action on September 12. They will now be joined by La Liga who also resume action on the same day.
Reigning champions Real Madrid begin their campaign one week after the first round. They will get the first week off after their extra participation in the Champions League. They will kick-start their title defense with a game against Real Sociedad.
Barcelona went further than their rivals in the competition and will get one extra week one. Meaning the new season for the Catalan giants begins weekend of September 27/28. They will take on Villareal.
The most anticipated match in La Liga and perhaps Europe, the El Clasico, will hold on October 25 at Camp Nou. The second will be on April 11 in Madrid.
As per the La Liga’s website, all dates and fixtures are subject to change as the season goes by.
