After FC Barcelona’s draw with Atletico Madrid, La Liga is wide open for Real Madrid to take tomorrow when they play vs Sevilla.

The Spanish La Liga just took a turn in Real Madrid’s favor after today’s draw at Camp Nou Stadium. Atletico Madrid had a chance to claim the title if they defeated FC Barcelona and the Blaugranas could also make the difference. But Real Madrid was always looking at what could happen in this game and hoping for a favorable result. A victory from the Catalan club could help them considerably because they only needed to win the rest of their matches and claim the title.

But a draw was even more beneficial because now, they only have to win tomorrow and take the top of the tournament. Even though every club at the top has been wildly inconsistent, Zidane’s players tend to overcome obstacles like this. When they receive a visit from Sevilla FC tomorrow, they will do their best in order to get those three points that could mean the trophy for them. Although there is still one more important trip for them that could make them lose more points before the end of the season.

San Mames is where the title will be decided.

Supposing they win tomorrow against Sevilla, Real Madrid still has one more complicated away match that could decide if they win La Liga or not. Athletic Club Bilbao is in great form right now and preventing Real Madrid from the trophy is a major motivation. In previous seasons, we’ve seen Los Blancos win the trophy in San Mames two weeks from today. Zidane knows that the squad can easily drop points both in Bilbao and Granada.

Those are the two final matches away from home that they have to play before closing the season against Villarreal. That is four finals that will begin tomorrow when they play against Sevilla at home. If they win all four of those games, they will win the second consecutive domestic league title. Can Real Madrid overcome these obstacles in order to finish the season on a positive note?
