After the first month in the Spanish La Liga gone, the tournament announced their Played of the Month for September. Is it deserved?
The Spanish La Liga just announced the Player of the Month for September, they decided to reward Ansu Fati with this major recognition. At only 17 years of age, the Barcelona striker is burning stages in his career much faster than any other player before him. Not even Kylian Mbappe has done as much as this kid in such a short period of time.
Amongst the records he already has, Fati became the second-youngest player in Barcelona’s history to perform in La Liga with 16 years and 298 days. He came from the bench during a game against Real Betis. But that’s not even the surface, Ansu also became the youngest Spain player to score a goal during his performance against Ukraine.
Only chosen players can have honors as this player has to this day. He also scored more professional goals until this point in his life than some of the game’s biggest modern-day legends. However, his recognition for September came for his performances in La Liga during the first month of the competition.
Koeman trusts Ansu Fati.
Despite his age, Ansu Fati already has Ronald Koeman’s full trust to be a starter at FC Barcelona. He’s played from the beginning at every single match in the domestic competition. Ansu scored three goals and provided one assist during the first month of the tournament, which granted him this honor.
The trust doesn’t end there, as Luis Enrique is also taking advantage of the young forward’s moment in the Spanish National Team. Fati is about to start with Spain for the second time in his career, this will also be his third official game with ‘La Roja’. There is no way to know how much success this player will have, but we can already tell you that he’s not having a terrible start to his career.
