Ace Football presents detailed betting tips on the La Liga games of the weekend.

As we prepare for another matchday of the La Liga season, our experts take a look at the bookmakers’ predictions for the upcoming games.

Let’s check out three betting tips for Matchday 18 of the 2022-23 La Liga campaign.

Expect goals when Villarreal meet Girona

Villarreal failed to build on their impressive win over Real Madrid as Celta Vigo held them to a 1-1 draw last Friday.

Next up, the Yellow Submarines will take on Girona, who come into the game on the back of a 2-1 win over Sevilla.

Villarreal’s superior firepower will most likely convince them to keep on attacking for most of the game. However, Girona have shown they won’t stay in their own half for too long either.

We expect to see an open game, with both sides finding plenty of chances on Sunday.

Back Osasuna to beat Elche

Osasuna returned to winning ways after four weeks to beat Mallorca 1-0 last week. We expect the Rojilos to continue their run with another victory on Sunday.

Elche managed to score their first goal in three games when they drew 1-1 with Cadiz. We expect them to struggle for chances against Osasuna’s in-form defence line.

On the other hand, Osasuna’s recent stats in away games suggest they can expect to find enough goalscoring chances against their 20th-placed opponents.

Goals likely on both sides when Mallorca face Celta

Mallorca have continued to struggle for consistency in recent weeks. But they have managed to continue their impressive goalscoring form nonetheless.

We expect the tenth-placed side to score again when they meet Celta this weekend. Celta’s defensive stats in away games suggest they will have a hard time repelling their opponents’ attacks.

However, Mallorca have also dealt with defensive problems in recent weeks. Having scored in all of their last eight games, Celta will not leave their next game without pushing for at least one goal.
