Ace Football presents detailed betting tips on the La Liga games of the weekend.

As we prepare for another weekend of La Liga football, our experts take a look at the bookmakers’ predictions for the upcoming matches.

Let’s check out three betting tips for Matchday 35 of La Liga.

Don’t expect goals when Betis host Barcelona

Barcelona returned to winning ways by beating Mallorca 2-1 last week. The Catalans reclaimed the second spot on the table as they leapfrogged Sevilla.

This weekend, they will face Real Betis, who have remained winless in their last three games.

The Catalans’ attacking line showed a few signs of improvement against Mallorca, but that doesn’t convince us that they will find many goalscoring chances against the fifth-placed side.

Betis’ defensive stats suggest they will manage to repel most of Barca’s attacks on Saturday. However, given the Green and Whites’ recent attacking performances, we don’t believe they will find many chances either.

Goals likely on both sides when Alaves take on Celta Vigo

Alaves have intensified their efforts to escape the relegation zone recently. The 19th-placed side defeated Rayo Vallecano last week, reviving their hopes of survival.

Next up, they will meet Celta Vigo, who have failed to win their last two games. Following a 2-0 defeat against Getafe, Celta conceded a late goal to drop points against Granada last week.

Despite their unimpressive form we still expect Celta to have the upper hand against their relegation-struggling opponents. However, Alaves’ attacking stats have been so good in recent weeks that we believe they will find the back of the net at least once on Saturday.

Don’t expect goals when Bilbao meet Valencia

Bilbao claimed back to back wins by defeating Cadiz and Atletico Madrid in their last two games. They have climbed up to eighth place on the table, five points away from the Conference League qualification.

This weekend, they will face Valencia, who are on a terrible run of five winless games. The Bats have remained relatively stable in their backline, but a poor attacking form has cost them dearly.

We expect both sides to take a conservative approach to the upcoming game. Bilbao will most likely push for a win. However, Valencia’s backline has enough quality to prevent them from scoring more than once on Saturday.
