After so much drama over the last week, Kyian Mbappe’s future could be decided later today as he goes to represent his national team.

Kylian Mbappe’s future is the most interesting topic of conversation from this summer’s transfer window. Deadline day will be tomorrow but he can’t keep wasting any more time if he wanted to leave right now. According to Fabrizio Romano, negotiations between Real Madrid and PSG reached a complicated impasse. Even though Florentino Perez offered €170 million plus €10 million in bonuses, the French giants aren’t happy with this offer. The Italian journalist spoke live on Ibai Llanos’ Twitch channel for the latest on the stalled negotiation.

For Nasser Al-Khelaifi, this is a matter of protecting his dignity after the constant statements he made about the player. In previous weeks, he maintained his position of not allowing Mbappe to leave PSG for any price. Although the second offer from Real Madrid is wild money, they won’t accept anything below €200 million and possibly some players included on the deal. But Florentino is refusing to bulge because Mbappe’s contract expires next summer and he can negotiate with any club of his choosing in January 2022.

Florentino Perez’s ultimatum.

Considering Florentino Perez knows he can get Mbappe for free in four months, he knows PSG needs to consider their offer. According to Josep Pedrerol, the Spanish club made an ultimatum to PSG. If they don’t respond on Monday at 18:00, the most recent offer will be officially off the table. This means that we can get new information at any moment but this suddenly turned into a wild west standoff. PSG can’t keep wasting anymore time because they will need some room in order to find Mbappe’s possible replacement.

As the final hours of the transfer market approach, we will get to find out some fresh information within the next hour. Chances are that Florentino Perez won’t go crazy and offer a record-breaking number at this time of the day. However, you never know if the Real Madrid president will get desperate and do something completely crazy. Anything can happen in football, especially with a player like Kylian Mbappe and a president like Florentino Perez.
