In a dramatic turn of events, we just got news of a disheartening message coming straight from Kylian Mbappe’s mouth to all Real Madrid fans.
The local press from Madrid has been eating up the radio silence from Kylian Mbappe to PSG over the last couple of months. His inactivity in regards to his future suggested he didn’t want to continue playing for the French giants. But all that ended today with the most recent interview Mbappe gave to the official PSG magazine. Mbappe appeared on the cover alongside Neymar in a fun exchange both players had where they ask each other some questions.
The main topic was the future at the club and their undeniable chemistry. Contrary to what Real Madrid supporters expected, Mbappe didn’t play into the pressure. He decided to possibly end all speculation about his future by stating that his wish is to win the UEFA Champions League with the French giants. Meaning that he will likely stay for at least one more season and prolong the Spanish club’s agony.
Mbappe’s exchange with Neymar in full.
In an extended interview, Neymar played along with Mbappe for a while during this exchange. It is clear both stars are very comfortable with each other and they still want to win something together: “I’m not a very good journalist… what would I ask Neymar? What is your big dream after everything you’ve achieved?” asked Kylian. “My biggest dream with PSG is to win the Champions League and with Brazil to win the World Cup. And for you, Kylian, it’s to win the Champions League, isn’t it?” responded Neymar.
“Why not another World Cup?” asked Mbappe back to Neymar. “No, the next World Cup is for me. What’s your next big dream after winning the World Cup?” questioned Neymar. “My biggest dream is to win the Champions League with PSG, that would be fantastic. But winning another World Cup would be great too,” confessed Mbappe.
