Toni Kroos has racked an extraordinary career at Real Madrid possibly making him the best transfer in the history of the club.
According to Toni Kroos’ agent, Florentino Perez reckoned that the German midfielder was Real Madrid’s “transfer of the century”.
The 31-year-old joined the ranks of the Spanish capital in 2014 after leaving Bayern Munich. Since then, Kroos has found himself amongst the greatest playmakers in the history of Blancos.
Even at his ripe age, he has been absolutely impeccable when it comes to form and composure on the field.
While talking about the Real Madrid chief, Kroos’ agent Volke Struth told OMR-Podcast about his client.
“He is an unbelievably pleasant person with a great life story,” Struth admired Perez.
“Perez is entrepreneurial but remains human. He explained to me why Toni Kroos is Real Madrid’s transfer of the century.”
Following a World-Cup winning performance in 2014, Kroos signed a deal with Madrid for around €30 million. Reportedly, he was quite close to flying to Manchester United before stepping into La Liga.
The midfield maestro has racked over 300 outings with the club is currently working in his eighth season.
Kroos has had four Champions League successes (2016, 2017, and 2018) with Real along with two domestic silverware. On the individual platform, he has been named in the UEFA Team of the Year three times.
