Ahead of Barcelona’s match against Cadiz, Ronald Koeman wanted to send a motivating message to all his players for tomorrow.

Ronald Koeman knows his job at FC Barcelona is on the line over the next month, there are other managers who are willing to take his job. Last week’s defeats against Sevilla and PSG were a hard blow for the Dutch manager but he still feels motivated. In fact, he just sent his players a message of motivation for all the footballers at the club. Even though they are on the verge of elimination in two competitions, Koeman still thinks they can turn things around.

With a 4-0 disadvantage, the Catalan club has to travel to Paris in order to search for a historic victory. They have to win by a four-goal advantage regardless of the final result. As far as the Copa del Rey match is concerned, the Blaugrana have a less difficult return leg at Camp Nou after a 2-1 defeat at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium. Both competitions are technically manageable by Barcelona but only one of them is realistic.

Koeman still believes in his players.

La Liga is a very different story, especially after tonight’s results from both teams in Madrid. Barcelona suddenly caught a break in a complicated season that seemed completely lost until today. With these results in mind, Ronald Koeman wanted to motivate his players ahead of tomorrow’s match against Cadiz.

Sport picked up the following statement from the Dutch manager: “We are still alive in all three competitions. The Champions League is especially complicated. Against Sevilla, we have the chance to turn things around if we are more effective. I still believe we can get to the final. We depend on Atletico in La Liga, I’m not as negative as you say. We have to continue because we are Barça and we have good players in order to react.”
